Fred Sampson, Alto Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet - Fred is one of the newest members of Dallasʼ Original Jazz Orchestra.  He moved to the Dallas area in 1985 and grew up in the Richardson suburb. Attending The University of North Texas he received his Bachelor of Music in Education.

Currently, he is playing with several groups including the Celebration Orchestra, Crosswinds Jazz 
Band as well as with the Creative Arts Jazz Orchestra. He also plays in the horn section for the Linson Daniel Band. Fred is Director of Bands at Vines High School in Plano.
