Eric Wells Trumpet, in the early years was highly recruited out of High School by several colleges, but chose to stay near home and attend Texas Tech., in Lubbock, Texas. There, he played in the Grammy Nominated Jazz Ensemble I, Led the Texas Tech Marching Band Trumpet Section, Played Lead Trumpet in the Nationally recognized Court Jesters, and was a member of the Texas Tech Symphonic Band when they played at Carnegie Hall.

He moved to the DFW area in 1997. Since then he has been a sub or member of numerous bands including: Metro Praise Orchestra, Pecos River Brass Big Band, Brookhaven Jazz Band, Dallas Christian Big Band, Celebration Big Band, Dallas' Original Jazz Orchestra, and several others. 

Eric has shared the stage with: The Temptations, Louie Bellson, Arturo Sandoval, Clay Jenkins, and many others.  Since he met Galen Jeter at the Monterey High School Jazz Festival it was a dream to play in the DOJO. Galen Jeter has been a great influence in his development ever since.
